Simply upload and install the Auto Submit Article Script For WordPress (ASA Script) & Unique Articles Plugin to your server, and then script and plugin will accept articles submitted to any of more than 360 categories and post them directly to the categories in your blog. After the initial setup, you do nothing!

ASA Script Installation:

  1. Unzip asa-script folder.
  2. Upload asa-install.php dan asa-addcategory.php to folder in your server where you have installed wordpress which there is wp-config.php file. You can upload to your main domain OR to sub domain OR to sub directory folder.
  3. Run the installation script in your browser, it will look like this http://www.yourdomain.com/asa-install.php OR http://subdomain.yourdomain.com/asa-install.php OR http://www.yourdomain.com/directory/asa-install.php and fill all required field. Please make sure the wordpress version which you have installed is matching and compatible with wordpress version in “Type” field. This script will automatically create categories and will create file asa-config.php on your server in folder where you have installed wordpress. If you your file permission / CHMOD the folder where you have installed wordpress to 750 and you get error message when run asa-install.php please change CHMOD to 755 or 777.
  4. Your asa-script installation is done, now you must install unique_articles plugin and please read the readme file in the unique_articles folder.

Unique Articles Plugin Installation:

  1. Unzip the zip file if you haven’t already done so. In it you will find a folder called “unique_articles” which, in turn, contains nine files.
  2. Using an FTP program, go to your Wordpress site. Within the Wordpress directory structure you should find a directory/folder: wp-content/plugins/
  3. Upload the entire unique_articles folder into that plugins directory directory. For YourDomain, if your article directory is located at: www.yourdomain.com/articles/ then this folder should appear as: www.yourdomain.com/articles/wp_content/plugins/unique_articles
  4. Change the permissions for the files config.php, version.txt, unique_articles.php, and article_mods.php to 666. Once you have donestep 5 you can, if you wish, change the permissions for config.php back down to 644 (however, you will need it at 666 any time you do another update - for example if you change your categories, and the other two files need to keep the higher permission permanently).
  5. Log in to your Wordpress site, and go to the admin control panel (wp-admin). There you will find a tab/link labelled “plugins”. Click on that. You should see the unique_articles listed there. Click on the link that says “Activate”.
  6. Now click on the “Options” tab at the top of the page (in wordpress 2.5 it is called “settings”). You should now see “UAW-Control” listed as a menu item. Click this to be taken to the Uaw Control Panel where you can set up your preferences. For example, you can set a limit to how many articles you receive each day. You can also choose to have an email notification when you receive an article - and then you can delete or approve that article just by clicking a link in the email. This is a great option if you have a niche site that
    receives few articles.
  7. Enter your email address in the “Your Email” field. Type your First and Last name. Setting maximum articles per day. Setting type article publishing (publish or draft). Setting notification emails (leave it blank if you want automatic publish articles). Choose category which you want to receive articles (you can choose all). Click “Update & Test” button and you’re done!
